LaVerne is a established member of the Greater Cincinnati community.  She worked 34-years in the utilities industry, more than 15 years as an American Sign Language Interpreter, Mentor to single parents, Author, Workshop presenter, and over 20 years as a wedding and celebration cake maker.  She has now taken on another role as Licensed Real Estate Agent.  

LaVerne Bain Rutledge, all of her adult life has been a supporter, encourager, and mentor of people and their dreams.  LaVerne believes that the desires of your heart are achievable and doable.  As a divorced, single parent raising sons she obtained a Batchelor's degree in Special Education, with specifics in American Sign Language and became a Licensed Real Estate Agent.  LaVerne was a home owner herself in her early twenties.  LaVerne feels strongly that children deserve a front and back yard for fun and lasting memories of a childhood living in a house.   

When Laverne isn't working in the role of real estate agent she is expanding her other skills as a writer, ASL Interpreter, cake baker, crocheting, sewing, and mentoring young adults.
